Thailand is a very popular touristic destination but it is seldom made mention of the richness of its natural inheritance.

More than 950 species of birds were listed there (including the migrating species) and the diversity of the biotopes also contributes to this richness. But one should not dream. The problems which exist on our countries are also of topicality in this country and from many species suffer from the human activities and the transformations of their natural environments. To help with the safeguarding of this natural inheritance, about sixty national parks and about thirty sanctuaries exist through all the country.
